The Role

As an Automation Engineer / Internal Systems Engineer, you will design and build the internal infrastructure that powers the company’s day-to-day operations. You will create tools, workflows, and AI-driven automations that improve efficiency across Support, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.

This is not a traditional tooling role—you are a software engineer focused on eliminating repetitive work through automation and systems thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Build internal tools and automation systems using n8n, HubSpot, APIs, and custom services
• Design AI-powered workflows to automate operational processes
• Develop internal platforms used across Support, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations
• Identify bottlenecks in internal workflows and implement scalable solutions
• Work closely with all teams to remove repetitive manual work
• Build and optimize AI agents tailored for the DACH market
• Continuously improve internal systems through rapid iteration

What You Bring

• Strong software engineering background (APIs, debugging, system design, data models)
• Experience with n8n or similar automation/workflow tools
• Ability to decide when to use low-code tools vs. building custom services
• Hands-on experience with APIs and integrations
• Strong pragmatic engineering mindset with fast iteration skills
• Familiarity with AI tools (LLMs, agents, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) or strong motivation to learn
• High ownership mentality and execution-driven mindset
• Strong English + German preferred
