Country Sales Manager

Job description

  • Location & Work Model: Hybrid (France-based near a major airport/TGV Station like Lyon, Toulouse, Montpellier, Marseille, Bordeaux, or Dijon) + weekly travel.

  • The Project: Scaling France’s dental lab revolution.

  • Package: €90,000 - €110,000 OTE

What's the project?

Imagine taking the craftsmanship of traditional dental laboratories and supercharging it with a cutting-edge digital platform. That is exactly what our client—a major European network in the dental prosthetics sector—is doing. In France, they have rapidly grown to a network of 20 specialized labs, and now it’s time to harmonize, scale, and conquer the market.

They are moving away from siloed, local operations to a unified, high-performing nationwide machine. This isn’t about maintaining the status quo; it’s about injecting a true entrepreneurship spirit into an industry ripe for modernization.

And your role in this?

We are looking for a commercial architect to build the sales model from scratch. You aren't just managing a pipeline; you are joining as part of the founding leadership team for France to transform how 20 distinct labs approach the market. Your primary objective is to redesign the entire sales funnel—taking successful blueprints from a few labs and scaling them across the entire French network—while driving massive cross-selling and up-selling strategies.

More specifically, you will:

  • Design the playbook: Create and implement a standardized, scalable sales process and funnel for all 20 labs across France.

  • Build your dream team: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a brand-new team of 5 to 6 Sales Representatives, alongside marketing and tech support professionals, within your first 6 to 9 months.

  • Strategize the territory: Structure the team so each sales rep optimally manages 3 to 4 local labs.

  • Lead from the front: Accompany your team to high-stakes client meetings, pairing up with technical experts from the labs to close major deals.

  • Foster synergy: Bridge the gap between the traditional craftsmanship of the labs and the modern efficiency of a digital platform.

Ok, what should you bring?

Our Ideal Future Colleague (The Must-Haves):

  • The Dental Industry Passport: You bring around 8 years of solid commercial experience, specifically from the dental sector (direct competitors or closely related dental ecosystems). You speak the language of dentists and lab technicians fluently.

  • The Entrepreneurial DNA: You don't need a pre-written manual; you prefer to write it. You have a proven track record of creating sales models and building teams from the ground up.

  • The Travel Enthusiast: Since this is a nationwide rollout, you are ready for weekly travel during the first year to embed yourself in the regions. Being located close to a major airport hub is essential.

  • Linguistic Agility: You are a native French speaker with a C1 level of English to collaborate seamlessly with the international leadership team.

The Extra Cherries on Top (The Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience managing a mix of sales, marketing, and technical support profiles simultaneously.

  • A strong existing network within the French dental practitioner community.

Is that it?

Let’s talk about the vibe and the challenge. This is a rare "blank page" opportunity within a highly stable, backed European group. The challenge is real: you will need to convince traditional labs to embrace a unified commercial model. But the reward is the chance to say, "I built that team and that strategy from scratch." The company culture is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and deeply entrepreneurial.
