WHAT'S THE PROJECT?
Bring your creativity and ambition to a newly launched, high-growth beauty and personal care brand built from scratch by successful consumer entrepreneurs.
Focused on luxury perfumes, body lotions, haircare and high-end beauty goods, the company is preparing for a major market launch with plans to scale rapidly across European and global channels.
Joining as one of the first team members, you will play a key role in shaping the brand's visual identity and physical product experience. From developing packaging concepts to bringing them to life on the shelf, your work will help define how customers see, feel and experience the brand.
AND WHAT'S MY ROLE IN THIS?
As Creative Designer – Beauty Packaging, you'll be responsible for developing distinctive, premium packaging that captures the essence of the brand.
You'll work across perfumes, body care, skincare and haircare, turning creative ideas into beautiful, commercially compelling packaging. With a strong eye for colour, typography and composition, you'll help create products that stand out while remaining consistent with the brand's identity.
This is a hands-on creative role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the look and feel of a new beauty brand from the very beginning.
PACKAGING DESIGN
Creative Concept Development – Develop original and exciting packaging concepts that bring product ideas and creative briefs to life. Think beyond the expected and bring fresh ideas that make the brand distinctive.
Beauty & Fragrance Packaging – Design packaging for perfumes, body lotions, skincare, haircare and other beauty products, with a strong understanding of premium beauty aesthetics.
Labels & Primary Packaging – Create beautiful, functional designs for bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, sprays and other beauty packaging formats.
Secondary Packaging – Design cartons, boxes, sleeves, gift sets and other packaging that looks premium and works well as a physical product.
Colour, Typography & Visual Identity – Use colour, fonts, typography, composition and materials to create packaging that feels cohesive, considered and aligned with the brand.
Packaging Materials & Finishes – Explore different materials, printing techniques and finishes to bring creative concepts to life, including foiling, embossing, debossing, varnishes and metallic effects.
Artwork & Production – Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork and work with suppliers and printers to ensure designs are produced to a high standard.
Creative Collaboration – Work closely with the founders and wider team to develop ideas, refine concepts and ensure every product reflects the brand's vision.
DIGITAL & AI CONTENT
Packaging is the main focus of this role, but you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to digital content and creative campaigns.
- Develop creative ideas for product launches, social media and digital campaigns.
- Create or experiment with AI-generated imagery and video to support the brand's visual storytelling.
- Explore new creative tools and techniques to bring product concepts and campaigns to life.
- Collaborate on content that showcases the products in a premium and engaging way.
Experience with AI-generated content is a plus, but strong packaging design and creative thinking are the priority.
OK, AND WHAT DO YOU NEED?
● 2–3+ years of experience in graphic design, packaging design or a similar creative role, ideally within beauty, fragrance, skincare or consumer products.
● A strong portfolio demonstrating creative packaging concepts, labels, primary and secondary packaging.
● Excellent creative thinking and the ability to develop original, exciting ideas from a brief.
● A strong eye for colour, typography, fonts, composition and visual detail.
● Good understanding of premium beauty aesthetics, packaging materials and current design trends.
● Experience working with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
● Good technical artwork and prepress knowledge, including dielines, print specifications and preparing production-ready files.
● Ability to take a packaging project from initial concept through to final artwork.
● A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
● Experience with AI-generated imagery, video or other digital content is a plus.
● Full fluency in English, both written and spoken.
THAT'S IT?
You're a naturally creative person with a great eye for design and a passion for beautiful products.
You love coming up with ideas, experimenting with colours and fonts, and finding new ways to make packaging feel special. You care about the details, but you're also not afraid to think outside the box.
You enjoy working in a fast-moving startup environment where your ideas can have a direct impact. You're excited by the opportunity to help shape a new beauty brand, from its first packaging concepts to the products customers will see on shelves.
If you're looking for a role where you can bring your creativity to life and have a real say in how a brand looks and feels, this could be the project for you.
