Our client is an international denim world leader widely acknowledged as an excellent provider. They are currently focused on expanding the Valencia office and therefore recruiting for a Spanish & English Speaking UK Lead.
 

Tasks
Your responsibilities working as an UX lead will be:

 

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX & UI problems in existing solutions.
  • Strong critical thinking to get to the root cause of problems fast – then able to explain it.
  • ?Prioritize new Design System deliverables, scaling it into a robust tool that helps drive more efficient design exploration within the team.
  • Partner with the Product Owner’s in order to ensure all work delivered by the UX team enhances user experiences and drives business success, in the context of G-Star’s overall goals.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the experience should function and look.
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and icons).
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Manage the UX roadmap process, ensuring that all design briefs are clearly understood and assigning work across the team in order to meet timelines.
  • Support the Product Owners to conduct and lead data driven customer research, collaborating with CRO, marketing and data analysts in order to provide a holistic picture of the customer problems & opportunities.


Requirements
Skills, experiences, and interests you need to succeed in this role:

  • 5+ years of industry experience as a UI/UX/Product designer and/or manager.
  • A strong portfolio of digital design examples that showcase your customer centric approach and design skills.
  • You are organized and extremely focused on every small detail.
  • Strong team spirit with a can-do personality, able to bring people together.
  • Experience working with Figma is preferred (but also tools such as Sketch).
  • Be proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (we will provide support here).
  • You are fluent in English
