Your responsibilities as an IT Asset Management Specialist will be: 

  • Supporting the Hardware Asset Management function by performing physical inventory of IT assets in the company’s data centers
  • Tracking and managing IT assets through their lifecycle (receiving, deployment, change maintenance and disposal) 
  • Protecting the corporation’s assets as well as operating systems
  • Conduct physical inventories of IT assets and performing searches for equipment not found during inventory
  • Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of inventory data
  • Reconciling and resolving asset data discrepancies based on knowledge of business rules
  • Improving the quality of hardware data in the IT asset repository
  • Gathering requirements and developing reports, macros and dashboards (MS Excel/Tableau)
  • Providing support to senior team members for projects and audits
  • Coordinating disposal pickups and completion of associated processes and records
  • Providing support to and collaborate with all levels to achieve goals and objectives

Skills, qualifications and interests you need to succeed in this role:

  • You are fluent in English 
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a Technical environment in a European or Global company
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in an analytical role; experience working with IT hardware preferred
  • You have thorough knowledge of Windows 10, Citrix environment, including networking components, services and user profiles
  • You have a broad level of skills across PC hardware and software systems including: - Active Directory, Windows Terminal Services, Citrix, Microsoft Office 365, Database Systems, Exchange, cloud systems and Azure
  • You are ideally educated to a degree level in IT and/or computing technologies
  • You have advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, Charts, Functions, etc.)
  • You are able to automate, modify, optimize reports and implement built-in functions and formulas in MS Excel
  • You have working proficiency with standard ticketing and inventory management tools
  • You have an ITIL Foundation
  • You possess a commitment to excellence, a strong sense of urgency and dedication to client satisfaction
  • You have excellent problem-solving and time management skills
