IT Team Lead On-site (English Speaker)

Your responsibilities as an IT Team Lead will be: 
  • Responsible for line Management of the GTS Function
  • Responsible for creating and providing KPI’s, reports and goals
  • Input into weekly team meeting agenda
  • Assisting in system upgrades (including testing, training etc)
  • Incident and Problem management contributor
  • Assisting GTS analysts in providing first-line support when workloads are high, accountable for the backlog, coordinating the operational and/or where additional experience is required
  • Responsible for running security and quality checks on the business as requested
  • Responsible for ensuring that GTS and the entire team is complying with previously agreed audit controls and measures
  • Applying stock controls, supplying and ensuring assets are in good condition, keeping HW inventory continuously updated and coordinating asset disposal
  • Build profitable relationships with vendors and third-parties with ability to negotiate and procuring, aligned
    with budget control
  • Coordinating office moves from IT support perspective and supplying audiovisual installations
  • Participating in Interviews, lead team meetings and project management
  • Facilitate coordination on internal projects, escalations and rollouts
  • Supporting and contributing to the Business Continuity Plan
  • Managing the day-to-day incidents and compliance of agreed service levels for requests logged via the internal ticketing tool ensuring SLA’s are met and backlog control
  • Responding to direct escalation approaches from customers walking up, email and MS Teams
  • Responsible for keeping the knowledge base and team regularly updated

Skills, qualifications and interests you need to succeed in this role:

  • You have professional proficiency in English (speaking Spanish, Italian, French or German as second language will be valued)
  • You have experience with service ticketing tool (GSD)
  • You have 5 years of experience in a service desk environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows 10, Citrix environment, including networking components, services, and user profiles
  • Ability to motivate team members and drive them to perform.
  • Working on-site 5 days per week (Monday until Friday) during the training period
  • You are familiar with antivirus solutions and security standards
  • ITIL Oriented, ITIL v4 is very positively valued
  • SLA performance monitoring and reporting
  • Approachable personality and excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be happy to work independently on allocated tasks
