Managing Director ( Spanish Speaker)

Are you an experienced Managing Director? Do you want to join our client, a renowned chemical/industrial manufacturer, to collaborate for their financial success and growth? 

Your responsibilities and impact as a Managing Director:

  • Leading and shaping the strategic vision while ensuring operational and sustained growth. 

  • Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan in alignment with the overall vision and objectives.

  • Drive initiatives and expand the market presence, increase revenue streams and capitalize on emerging opportunities. 

  • Oversee all aspects of say-to-say operations, including production, supply chain, sales and marketing.

  • Implement efficient processes and optimize productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness 

  • Make sure to follow industry standards, regulatory requirements and ethical practices

  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans collaborating with the finance team 

  • Monitor financial performance, manage cash flows and investments and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company’s financial health. 

  • Build and nurture a high performing team

  • Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development opportunities to empower employee and drive growth

  • Promote diversity, equity and inclusion to support inclusive work environments

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and partners. 

Skills, experience and interests you need to succeed in this role:

  • Higher education (finance, business administration, management or related field)

  • Proven experience 10 years in a senior leadership role within the chemical/industrial manufacturing industry or related field 

  • Proven track record of driving business growth, strategic planning and operational excellence

  • Experience within the financial acumen in budgeting, analysis and risk management.

  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and industry trends. 

  • Spanish is a must

  • French and Catalan desirable
