We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist in the field of AI for one of our international clients with an office in Barcelona. Are you passionate about data and technology and ready to work in a team full of sharp analytical minds; then take a look at this opportunity!

In this position you will build various Artificial Intelligence products for clients together with your team. This is done in two different ways: by providing clients with the product they need, and by working in AI laboratories to develop prototypes as part of R&D initiatives. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will coordinate the work that your team is doing to guarantee a successful product. 

Your responsibilities and impact working as a Senior Data Scientist will be:

• Understanding your clients’ needs and designing an ML approach to solve the challenge accordingly
• Defining the correct technology to use in each part of the pipeline (SQL, Python, EC2, AWS, Lambda, …)
• Leading a team of junior Data Scientists in various projects
• Ensuring coding best practices in the development and coaching Junior Data Scientists on this subject
• Validating and approving Pull Requests
• Interacting with other functions to ensure data exchange protocols
• Leading an AI laboratory performing L&D tasks and developing products

Skills, qualifications, and interests you need to succeed in this role:

• 4-6 years of experience in Data Science
• 4+ years of experience with Python, experience in R and SQL are a plus
• 4+ years of experience in Machine-Learning methodologies
• Minimum C1 level of English
• Working in a multi-disciplinary team and using Agile methodology
• Experience with working with cloud technologies
• Being able to quickly adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• A Master in Data Science or Machine Learning, or AWS Cloud Experience are a bonus
