IT Jira Administrator (English Speaker)

- Creating and maintaining an accurate inventory of the organization’s hardware and software assets and CIs, such as devices, servers, cloud services, applications, etc.
- Linking assets and CIs to service requests, incidents, problems, changes, and workloads to provide visibility and context for IT teams and customers.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of assets and CIs, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulations
- Building and updating service maps and models to show the relationships and dependencies between assets and CIs and the services they support.
- Analyzing asset and CI data to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and service improvement.
- Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to plan and execute asset and CI-related projects and initiatives.
- Ensure effective management of the CMDB and that the content contained is accurate.
- Integrate IT asset management tools with SCCM and Azure Monitor to collect, analyze, and report on IT asset data and performance metrics.
- Develop, maintain, and execute Python scripts to automate and streamline IT asset management processes and workflows.
- Fluent in English and preferably another language
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least two years of experience in using Jira Service Management’s Assets feature, as well as other Atlassian products, such as Jira Software, Confluence, and Bitbucket
- Knowledge of IT asset management and service configuration management best practices and frameworks, such as ITIL, ISO 19770, and COBIT.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware, as well as the tools and processes for managing them throughout their lifecycle.
