The work hour constraints may be temporarily increased by employers to 12 hours per day and 60 hours per week under exceptional flexible working arrangements. Those circumstances include:

The bank of hours system, which allows employees to "bank" their time
The focused working time schedule, in which labor is done just three to four days a week
The average workweek cannot exceed 48 hours (including overtime), regardless of the operating regime.
How long are work days in Portugal?

When an accident at work occurs, you are eligible to collect 70% of the contribution base right away. That value increases to 75% after a year. You might receive up to 80% if the issue is persistent.
